Sadie Amara Calvano has become well-known for her character Violet Plunkett that she played on the CBS sitcom Mom. Calvano originates from California and was first interested in gymnastics. She later decided to pursue a acting career. Her first appearance on screen was in 2010 in the episode of CBS's NCIS. The following year, her first big-screen appearance was in the biographical crime production J Edgar. In the ensuing years, she has made herself known to be one of the most promising young actresses working in the industry today.
